Neighbourhood centres in Munich – spaces and offers for neighbourly interaction

More than 50 of these neighbourhood centres exist in Munich, and they are spread all over the city. Many of the offers in the neighbourhood centres reach out to senior citizens, but some are also directed at people of all ages and backgrounds. A lot of the places offer a variety of activities and assistance. The concept follows the idea of a welcoming culture: “No matter where you come from, how young or old you are, who you love, what language you speak, what interests you have, what you believe in or whether you have a handicap”.
